1. General

Fabparts Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides fabrication products and 4x4 parts through our workshop and online store.
By purchasing from Fabparts, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
These terms are subject to change without notice, and the latest version will always be available on our website.


2. Payment Terms

  • All goods must be paid in full before delivery or collection, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Fabparts is a registered New Zealand company and provides a GST tax invoice with every sale.

  • Payments must be received within 7 days of purchase unless prior arrangement is made.

  • Part payments or deposits are non-refundable.

  • We do not offer time payment or layby options.

Bank Deposit:
Please include your invoice or order number as a payment reference.
Payments may take up to two business days to clear. Email proof of payment to help speed up processing.


3. Freight & Shipping

  • All freight and shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

  • You are welcome to arrange your own pickup during business hours to save freight charges.

  • Shipping rates for large items are based on delivery to a business address with a forklift or lifting equipment, or collection from the carrier’s depot.

  • A daytime contact phone number is required for the freight company to arrange delivery.

Delivery Times

  • North Island: usually 2–5 business days

  • South Island: usually 1–3 business days

  • Rural deliveries may take longer.

Track and trace details are provided for all freighted items.
If your order has not arrived within the stated timeframe, please contact us so we can follow up with the carrier.


4. Pickups

Pickups are available from our West Melton workshop during business hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
We are closed weekends and public holidays.
Please phone ahead to arrange collection.


5. Warranty & Returns

All goods, unless otherwise stated, are warranted to perform as described and for their intended purpose.
Warranty periods vary depending on the part or product.
We operate under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) and will provide an appropriate remedy for faulty goods.

Warranty Terms

  • Warranty is return-to-base — faulty items must be returned to Fabparts for inspection at the customer’s cost.

  • Prior arrangement is required before returning any product.

  • We will inspect all returned items. If a fault is found to result from improper installation, misuse, modification, or neglect, warranty coverage will be declined.

  • All warranties cover parts replacement only and do not include labour, consumables, or shipping.

Returns Policy

  • You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return goods.

  • Returns must include proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).

  • Returned items can be exchanged or credited; cash refunds are not provided.

  • Items are not returnable if you:

    • Change your mind

    • Find a cheaper product elsewhere

    • Purchase an item for someone else and they don’t want it

    • Buy something that doesn’t fit, match, or suit your application

Customer Satisfaction

We aim for 100% satisfaction. Please contact us before leaving negative or neutral feedback — we’ll do our best to resolve any issue.


6. Engine Warranty (if applicable)

Engine warranty is valid only if the following components are replaced at installation:

  • Water pump

  • Cam belt, tensioner, thermostat

  • All oil seals (camshaft, crankshaft, front & rear main)

  • Engine oil, oil filter, coolant

  • Radiator serviced by a radiator specialist

Warranty covers the long block assembly only, provided the engine has been fitted correctly and not subjected to abuse, overheating, or modification.
Damage caused by accessory or ancillary part failure is not covered.

The warranty is void if the engine is overheated, run low on oil, dismantled, altered, or used outside of its original application.
Receipts for all replacement parts must be provided when making a claim.

Fabparts’ liability is limited to supplying a replacement engine or parts up to the value of the original purchase price.
All labour costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.


7. Vehicles (if applicable)

Vehicles sold by Fabparts are often used, project, or end-of-life vehicles and may require repairs.
We strongly recommend independent mechanical inspections before purchase.
By purchasing, you accept full responsibility for the condition of the vehicle and any future repairs.
No warranty or guarantee is offered unless stated otherwise in writing.


8. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us.
We will never share or sell your personal information to any third party.
Customer information is used solely for order processing, communication, and delivery purposes.


9. Copyright

All images, text, and product descriptions used by Fabparts remain the intellectual property of Fabparts.
They may not be copied, reused, or distributed without written permission.
